BARBER GLITTER SHIT SHOP

An American hair salon of the first half of the last century. Women dressed in robes, champagne in hand, in comfortable heels but still on pins. In the background, Nicki Minaj and the story of a woman who's getting kicked out of barbershops.

The play confronts the male gaze of the past century with the current male gaze that we, as women, have embraced. The positions of women towards feminism and their transformation towards change through the influence of a goblin disrupting the dreaminess of our nightmare. At times a chair, at times a customer, and at times a hairdresser.

The radio play Barber Glitter Shit Shop was part of the performance Barber Glitter Shit Shop in Theatre LAB.
